Ronald Molina, 76, of Manchester, previously of Glastonbury, died peacefully on April 1, 2015. Ron was born June 25, 1938 in Hartford, CT, the son of the late John and Bernice (Gondek) Molina and grew up in South Glastonbury. He graduated from Glastonbury High School in the Class of 1956.

Ron was a milkman for Tryon's Dairy in South Glastonbury for many years. He worked for the Town of Glastonbury, primarily the Highway Department, for 34 years. He was also a member of the Glastonbury Volunteer Ambulance team for 12 years. After retirement, he...

Ronald Molina, 76, of Manchester, previously of Glastonbury, died peacefully on April 1, 2015. Ron was born June 25, 1938 in Hartford, CT, the son of the late John and Bernice (Gondek) Molina and grew up in South Glastonbury. He graduated from Glastonbury High School in the Class of 1956.

Ron was a milkman for Tryon's Dairy in South Glastonbury for many years. He worked for the Town of Glastonbury, primarily the Highway Department, for 34 years. He was also a member of the Glastonbury Volunteer Ambulance team for 12 years. After retirement, he enjoyed working for Paul Lemke selling produce East of the Connecticut River.

Ron was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and shoot skeet. He was the President of the Glastonbury Sportsmans Club for 4 years, and President of the Manchester Sportsmans Club for 3 years. He was as comfortable in the woods as a whitetail buck deer. Nature was very much a part of his life, anything from walking the woods to growing vegetable gardens.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Gail, his 3 children: John (Roxanne) Molina of Rocky Hill, Dawn Molina of Rocky Hill, Heather (Gary) Molina-St. Jean of Putnam; his 3 step children: Sharon (Eric) Pierce of Stafford, Keith Morrissey of Campton, NH, Lynn (Richard) Pisciotta of Stafford, along with numerous grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Kathy Prusinowski of Glastonbury, and the mother of his children, Lee C Nielson of Berlin, CT.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Augustine's Church, 55 Hopewell Rd, So. Glastonbury, on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 10AM. Burial following at St. Augustine Cemetery, South Glastonbury.
